Vinge advises Flower in connection with the acquisition of the Pajkölen battery storage project

Vinge has advised the energy technology company Flower Infrastructure Technologies AB (“Flower”) in the acquisition of one of Sweden's largest battery storage projects, Pajkölen, from Arise AB (publ) (“Arise”). The project, which is a 40 MW / 80 MWh Ready-to-Build battery energy storage system (BESS), is located in the Kölvallen wind farm in Ljusdal municipality. The transaction comprise all shares in Pajkölen BESS AB, which owns all rights to the project.

Vinge has advised Flower in connection with the acquisition of the energy storage facility Bredhälla from OX2.

The energy storage facility Bredhälla consists of batteries utilizing lithium-ion technology with a total capacity of 42,5MW /42,5MWh spread across 20 modules, making it the largest battery park in Sweden. Bredhälla will provide ancillary services to Svenska Kraftnät to ensure stability in the electricity grid and participate in wholesale markets by providing energy arbitrage.

Vinge advises Aspo, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, in the transaction whereby Aspo's subsidiary Telko expands its chemicals business in Sweden by acquiring Swed Handling, a leading Swedish chemical distributor, from TeRa Invest. As part of the transaction, Aspo’s subsidiary Leipurin expands its food industry business in Sweden, via the technical food ingredient distributor Kebelco, which is a subsidiary of Swed Handling. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Vinge advises Lantmännen in connection with its divestment of the Gooh ready-to-eat business

Lantmännen Cerealia has signed an agreement to divest its ready-to-eat business under the Gooh brand to Atria Sweden. The deal encompasses the entire business, as well as the Gooh brand. All staff currently working in the business area will be invited to join the transfer. The divestment means that Lantmännen Cerealia is focusing its operations on the grain value chain.

Cameco together with Brookfield Renewable Partners will acquire all shares in Westinghouse Electric Company and upon completion Cameco will beneficially own a 49% interest and Brookfield Renewable, with its institutional partners, will beneficially own a 51% interest.
