JSC Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill acquires Korsnäs Packing

The Russian packaging group JSC Segheza Pulp and Paper Mill have signed an agreement with Investment AB Kinnevik regarding an acquisition for Kinnevik's wholly-owned subsidiary Korsnäs Packaging for EUR 73.5 million on a debt-free basis.

Vinge acted as Swedish advisor to the purchaser's JSC Segheza Pulp and Paper Mill. Representatives from Vinge included Carl Gustaf De Geer and Viveka Beckeman.

These companies are engaged in contracting activities within the construction sector. The total purchase price for the shares amounts to 747 MSEK. All key executives in the companies will become shareholders in Eleda.

Vinge has advised Fortum in connection with the divestment of its recycling and waste business

 Vinge, alongside among others Castrén & Snellman, has advised Fortum in connection with the divestment of its recycling and waste business to Summa Equity through its portfolio company NG Group. The debt free purchase price is approximately EUR 800 million.
