Nordic Capital – aquisition of Finnveden AB

Nordic Capital, the Swedish private equity firm, has succesfully completed the public offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Finnveden AB, the Swedish engineering company, for a consideration of SEK 2.0bn (USD 288.1m), and currently holds more than 99% of the total number of shares and votes in Finnveden AB.

Pointsharp is a Swedish provider of identity and access management solutions as well as secure information exchange, with operations in the Nordics, DACH and Benelux. The acquisition complements Pointsharp's existing offering with capabilities in secure digital communication and strengthens the company's position in the Swedish public-sector market, particularly in the municipal and healthcare segments. The transaction is Pointsharp's sixth add-on acquisition since Main Capital became an investment partner in November 2020.
