Tech Data's acquisition of Scribona unconditionally approved

On 28 April 2008, the European Commission unconditionally approved, in the first phase, Tech Data's acquisition of Scribona.
 
Both Tech Data and Scribona operate as wholesale distributors of IT products. There was a significant horizontal overlap of the parties' businesses. The merged entity will become a clear market leader in the Nordic region.
 
Vinge acted as Tech Data's antitrust advisors. Vinge's team included Johan Karlsson (responsible partner), Mattias Ganslandt (Ph.D,) and Peter Alstergren (associate).
