VINGE ADVISES OPUS GROUP ON THE SALE OF OPUS EQUIPMENT

Vinge has advised Opus Group AB (publ), listed on NASDAQ Stockholm, in connection with the sale of all shares in Opus Equipment AB to Meca Scandinavia AB, which is part of the Mekonomen Group. Opus Equipment and its subsidiary have a turnover of approximately SEK 135 million and have approximately 70 employees most of whom are based in Sweden although some employees are stationed at a production facility in China. The purchase price amounts to SEK 51 million on a cash and debt free basis. Closing is expected to take place on1 July 2015.

Vinge’s team consisted of responsible partner Anders Strid together with, among others, Frida Bäckegren (M&A), Hampus Wikerstål (IP), Joel Zetterström (IT), and Jonas Lindblad (employment).
