Vinge advises Polar Structure AB in connection with its issuance of EUR 81 million senior secured notes through a majority owned subsidiary

Vinge advises Polar Structure AB, a leading developer and owner of infrastructure, in connection with its issuance of EUR 81 million senior secured notes through a majority owned subsidiary. The proceeds will be used to finance the construction of a railway outside Boden, which will connect the existing iron ore line (Sw. Malmbanan) with H2 Green Steel’s new facility for large-scale production of green steel at Boden Industrial Park.

The notes have a fixed interest rate, a tenor of 6.5 years and are secured by pledges in, inter alia, the railway assets.

Vinge’s team primarily consisted of Niclas Winnberg and Kristoffer Larson (Real Estate), Helena Göransson, Karl-Gustaw Tobola, and Josef Groow (Banking & Finance), and Filippa Bergkvist (Transaction Support).

 Vinge, together with Latham & Watkins, advises Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (“GBL”) (Euronext Brussels: GBLB) on its acquisition of BUKO Group, a leading platform in temporary traffic management, from funds advised by Equistone Partners Europe and the founding family, while management will re-invest alongside GBL. The transaction, which is subject to customary approvals, will entail a EUR 0.5 billion equity investment by GBL.

Vinge advise Lagercrantz Group on the business acquisition of FMK Trafikprodukter

Lagercrantz Group, through its subsidiary Nordic Road Safety, has entered into an agreement to acquire the business and assets of FMK Trafikprodukter – a niche company specialising in CE-certified road barrier systems for the Swedish and Nordic infrastructure market.
