Vinge is increasing its EU, Competition & Regulatory Practice Group with economist Jakob Jeanrond, PhD.

Jakob’s background and specialist skills will strengthen our team and service offering to our clients. In his current position, he has played a prominent role in some of the most widely publicized matters over the last few years and he has acted as an expert and adviser in relation to court proceedings.”
Jakob is currently working at the Swedish Competition Authority’s economics division, where he has been working since 2013. Jakob is a specialist and has considerable experience of economic analysis in connection with mergers as well as abuse and cartel issues. The digital economy, e trading, platforms and multi-markets are areas where Jakob has a particular degree of knowledge.
Jakob has an excellent academic background which includes the European University Institute (PhD, 2013), the London School of Economics (MSc, 2008) and Lund University (MSc, 2007). Jakob has also been a guest lecturer at Northwestern University (2012) and Boston University (2010). Jakob joins Vinge in February 2017.
