We are proud to announce that the Swedish government has today appointed our colleague and Partner, Erik Sjöman, as a Justice of the Swedish Supreme Court.
Erik has been with Vinge for 25 years and is a central figure in Swedish corporate and capital markets law. He is top ranked in his fields and a highly valued advisor to several leading players in the Swedish business community.
He is a member of the Swedish Takeover Panel where he also serves on the Panel Executive, and a member of the Disciplinary Committee of Nasdaq Stockholm. Erik is the author of several books and articles, a frequent arbitrator and lecturer, and has been involved in several legislative matters and the development of self-regulation on the Swedish stock market for many years.
Erik will assume his new position after the summer. He will continue to serve in the Swedish Securities Council and on the Disciplinary Committee of Nasdaq Stockholm.
