The Swedish Government has of today appointed Maria-Pia Midenbäck Hope, partner at Vinge Stockholm, as Ambassador for Female Entrepreneurship.
Maria-Pia Midenbäck Hope assignment is to inspire and encourage women to see entrepreneurship as a possibility that can lead to own businesses as well as partnerships in law firms.

Her plans are to take part in debates, give lectures and talk to students about their opportunities to choose a legal profession and/or their own entrepreneurship. Maria-Pia Midenbäck Hope has been a lawyer since 1994. She became an attorney in 2001 and a partner at Vinge Stockholm in 2003.
During the past few years Vinge has prioritized recruiting female attorneys which has increased the number of female partners. In February 2005 seven percent of Vinge’s partners were female. 2008 the number had risen to fifteen percent which is an increase of eighty eight percent in three years. The number of female attorneys has also increased from forty five percent 2005 to sixty percent 2008 which is an increase of thirty three percent.
