Advokat Anders Leissner and advokat Martin Johansson as well as associates Hilda Ivarsson and Tyra Fellbom von Mentzer have contributed the Swedish chapter to the recently published International Trade Guide for the 2025 edition of the Chambers and Partners Global Practice Guide.
The chapter provides an insight into the legal and regulatory aspects of international trade in Sweden. International trade is an area that has received a great deal of attention, not least because of recent world events. Several of the issues addressed are of a business-critical nature for many companies. The focus is on Sweden's EU-based trade policy and free trade agreements.
The chapter also covers customs issues and the regulatory framework governing anti-dumping and foreign subsidies and direct investments, as well as the latest developments in sanctions, export controls and sustainability.
