Advokat James Hope, advokat Anthony Bitar and advokat Marcus Eklund have contributed two articles on international arbitration in Sweden to the recently published "International Arbitration 2023 Guide" in the Chambers and Partners Global Practice Guide.
The two articles deal with practical issues concerning international arbitration in Sweden, as well as trends and future prospects in the field.
James Hope is a partner in Vinge's Investigations & International Disputes practice group. He is both a Swedish advokat and an English Solicitor-Advocate with over 25 years’ of experience in dispute resolution, including 10 years in London. James acts both as counsel and as arbitrator in international arbitrations, both in Sweden and internationally.
Anthony Bitar is a Senior Associate in Vinge's Investigations & International Disputes practice group. He specialises in commercial disputes and has experience of representing clients in several different industries. Anthony has previously served as a district court clerk at Stockholm District Court.
Marcus Eklund is a Senior Associate in Vinge's Investigations & International disputes practice group and has a particular focus on international disputes. He is an advokat and has experience of representing clients in various industries in both Swedish and international arbitration and court disputes. Marcus has previously been a district court clerk at Uppsala District Court and also has experience from reputable international law firms in Zurich and London. Marcus speaks several languages, including German and Russian, and has a bachelor's degree in Russian from Uppsala University.
