Vinge lawyers contribute articles on insolvency law in Chambers Insolvency 2024 Global Practice Guide

Advokat Anna Palmérus, advokat Malin Olsson, advokat Jenny Sandlund and advokat Petronella Hallberg have contributed articles on bankruptcy, restructuring and general insolvency law in Sweden to the recently published "Insolvency 2024 Guide" in the "Chambers and Partners Global Practice Guide".

Malin Olsson and Petronella Hallberg have contributed with an article on practical issues concerning bankruptcy, restructuring and general insolvency law in Sweden, whereas Anna Palmérus and Jenny Sandlund have contributed with an article on trends and future prospects in the insolvency field in Sweden, including e.g. experiences from the first substantial and more complex reconstructions that have been implemented through the new Company Restructuring Act.

About the authors

Anna Palmérus is a partner at Vinge. She is highly experienced in restructuring and insolvency law, offering particular expertise in insolvency related advice to financially distressed companies and bankruptcy mandates. Anna has acted as a bankruptcy trustee in many bankruptcies with complex cross-border issues and extensive ongoing business. Her practice includes advising clients on (domestic and international) insolvency-related questions including board and management duties and choice between formal processes for implementation; implementation of restructurings and liquidation; and providing insolvency-related advice in connection with financing facilities and loans. Furthermore, Anna is a member of the Swedish Bar Association, INSOL Europe and the Swedish Association for Reconstructors and Bankruptcy Trustees (REKON).

Malin Olsson is a senior associate at Vinge, working primarily on insolvency-related matters and real estate law. She has extensive experience in handling domestic bankruptcies and assisting in reconstructions of companies’ operative in a variety of industrial sectors. In addition, she has experience in cross-border insolvency matters, as well as in winding-up procedures and liquidations. Malin is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and the Swedish Association for Reconstructors and Bankruptcy Trustees (REKON).

Jenny Sandlund is a senior associate at Vinge, working primarily on insolvency matters and M&A transactions. She is especially experienced in insolvency-related issues involving distressed M&A transactions and cross-border insolvency matters. Jenny also works on and has experience of domestic bankruptcies and restructuring matters, as well as winding-up procedures and liquidations. Jenny is a member of the Swedish Bar Association.

Petronella Hallberg is a counsel at Vinge, supporting clients on restructuring and insolvency matters and M&A transactions. Petronella has wide experience from advising both national and international clients in all types of M&A transactions, including distressed M&A transactions, investments and divestments. Petronella also works on, and has experience of, domestic and cross-border bankruptcies as well as winding-up procedures and liquidations. Petronella is a member of the Swedish Bar Association.
