Maria‑Pia Hope:
I am very honoured and delighted with the award. Gender equality and diversity strengthen our organization and create a greater dynamic, which means that we deliver better solutions to our clients. We have never had so many women in senior positions and we have never developed as strongly as we do today. Together with our clients, we are breaking new ground and developing the law further within several areas.
Since 2015, Vinge has been actively working to increase the proportion of female partners, with the aim that half of all newly elected partners should be women. One reason for this is an increased proportion of women at senior level, where half of our senior lawyers today are women. However, the ambition and work for a diversified workplace includes more than just gender balance. The ambition to create dynamics and diversity in the practice groups is intended to bring new perspectives into the business. A prerequisite for this is an organization where each employee is valued for their contribution to the whole, where a broad representation of age and background, experience and personality is crucial for the firm’s continued development.
