In 2007 Vinge received a top rank position by Merger Market for achievements in mergers and acquisitions. During 2007 Vinge acted as advisors within 85 business dealings which led to an accumulated value of SEK 211 billion. Furthermore, Johan Winnerblad, partner at Vinge Stockholm, was ranked one out of four of the most active M&A lawyers in Europe.
This information is included in the exploration company Merger Market’s annual report. The report state which Nordic legal advisors carried out the largest transactions within the field of mergers and acquisitions during 2007.
2007 proved to be a good year for Vinge’s M&A teams. During the year Vinge acted as advisors in 85 business dealings which led to an accumulated value of SEK 211 billion. The acquired value of the transactions granted Vinge the top position – a clear improvement since 2006 when Vinge was ranked in the 20th position.
In addition to this Johan Winnerblad, partner at Vinge Stockholm, was ranked one out of four of the most active M&A lawyers in Europe. During 2007 he carried out thirteen transactions by comparison with the lawyers that were ranked ahead of him who in turn carried out fifteen and fourteen transactions.
