It has been more than a year since Russia's invasion of Ukraine commenced and the West imposed significant sanctions in response, including in the EU (including Sweden) and UK, broad sanctions that exceed in many respects the scope of US sanctions, both in terms of breadth and complexity.

The sanctions landscape continues to intensify leaving multinational firms to confront rapidly rising risks in a highly uncertain regulatory environment. The risks are compounded by enforcement initiatives mandated to scour the globe for violations, circumvention, and assets to seize and to hold companies and individuals accountable.
