Ulf Dahlgren joins Vinge’s IP Practice Group. Following the recent arrival of Håkan Borgenhäll, one of Sweden’s leading intellectual property lawyers, Vinge now further strengthens its full-service IP Practice Group through the recruitment of tier-1 ranked Ulf Dahlgren.

The new Swedish Alternative Investment Fund Managers Act will enter into force on 22 July 2013. Vinge has a long tradition of working with private equity and property funds and we offer seminars as well as individual meetings focusing on the new Act.

Vinge’s partners at the Stockholm office have elected Håkan Borgenhäll as a new partner. Borgenhäll is one of Sweden’s foremost lawyers within the field of intellectual property rights (IP rights) and he has extensive experience in various IP proceedings and strategies.
Charlotte Forssander, advokat and partner of Vinge in Gothenburg has been elected by her fellow partners as the new Managing Partner (MP) for Vinge in Gothenburg. Charlotte replaces Olof Jisland who will be returning to normal partner duties following his nine year tenure as MP in Gothenburg.
Students in the talent network Nova 100 gave Vinge the highest ranking of all law firms in the network. At the same time, one of Vinge’s summer trainees was named Nova of the Year.
One of Vinge’s senior partners has been formally confirmed as a judge of the General Court which sits in Luxembourg. He will be the first Swedish attorney to serve as a member of the General Court when he is formally sworn in on 18 March 2013.
Johan Gernandt of Vinge has been awarded the H. M. King’s Medal of the 12th size with the ribbon of the Order of the Seraphim for his “outstanding contributions to the Swedish banking industry as well as Swedish and international business law”.
Vinge has overtaken all global law firms and is ranked at the top in terms of the value of M&A transactions in Sweden 2012, according to Mergermarket’s statistics for the full year.
Commencing 1 January 2013, Swedish Bar Association members Jesper Schönbeck, Mattias Rosengren, Charlotte Levin and Jonas Bergström, all from Vinge's Stockholm office, are new partners at Vinge.
