Vinge has been awarded the prize of best Swedish law firm 2017. The award, the Chambers Europe Award for Excellence – Sweden Law Firm of the Year 2017 – is one of the foremost awards a Swedish law firm can receive. Vinge has previously received the award on three occasions, most recently in 2014.

Vinge awarded for its gender diversity initiatives

For the fourth time, Vinge has won the award, European Women in Business Law – Sweden 2016. Vinge won the award for its gender diversity initiatives in the legal profession. Last year, Vinge was the first Swedish law firm to set the goal of having women represent 50 per cent of all newly appointed partners within the next five years.

Assur Badur – new partner at Vinge

Vinge has strengthened its real estate team in Stockholm with Assur Badur who has been appointed as a new partner and head of the real estate practice group from 1 March 2016. New partner elected and two new counsels appointed

Advokat Anna Palmérus, who works at Vinge’s Gothenburg office, has been elected as a new partner at Vinge. At the same time, advokat Robert Deli, who also works at the Gothenburg office, and advokat Matthias Pannier, who works at the Stockholm office, have been appointed as counsel. All of the appointments apply commencing 1 January 2016.

Ulrika Westin new Head of Marketing and Communications at Vinge

Vinge has appointed Ulrika Åkervall Westin as the new Head of Marketing and Communications. She is currently Head of Communications at Danske Bank Sverige.

Vinge appoints new heads of its Brussels office

Pär Remnelid, partner, and since 2001 based at Vinge's office in Malmö, will become the new head of Vinge’s Brussels office. Martin Johansson, having 25 years’ experience of EU law and having worked at the Brussels office since 2007, will become the new resident partner and be in charge of general EU law operations.

Vinge employs Sweden’s leading anti-corruption expert

Vinge has employed CSR expert and human rights lawyer Parul Sharma who has worked at Sandvik and Stora Enso and who is currently at CSR Sweden. She will be responsible for formulating anti-corruption programmes – something which is increasingly requested by Vinge’s clients.

Vinge best at gender diversity for the third time

Vinge has been awarded the European Women in Business Law – Sweden 2015 for the third time. Vinge received the award for its gender diversity initiative within the legal profession.  Vinge also received the award in 2011 and 2014.
